NASA Debate Essay

In space there are many mysteries. Some of those mysteries have to do with the governments funding. NASA, which stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration, has made many accomplishments in scientific and technological features because of the government's funding. A few years after NASA started which was in July 29 1958, they have been messing up on their responsibilities.

The government is very supportive of NASA’s purposes and accomplishments and they are thinking about funding billions of dollars to the administration. There are many people who are disagreeing with this problem because billions of dollars should be spent on global warming, national health for all people, better schools, and medical researches upon Earth. The other problem is that NASA has been canceling or postponing trips to the moon to see that if there’s anything that is disrupting the Earth’s environment. NASA is also excusing themselves for not sparing one billion dollars for the locations and movements of potentially dangerous asteroids but on the other hand , the government can give them six billion dollars for a moon base. NASA has also decreased their sun-study missions and this is bad for us because we need to know more about the sun. All life depends on the sun and if we know more about it, we could probably understand more about global warming. NASA is putting their agency first than the Earth and the people in it.

Even though there are a lot of people who don’t support NASA’s work, there are a lot of people who do. NASA has made a lot of technological figures during the past fifty years and it has affected our lifestyles greatly. They have made things such as cell phones, microwaves global positioning systems, and a satellite radios. These systems has made life easier for people such as communication. A lot of people also believe that NASA can find a solution for the people of Earth to live in the future since there are so many problems going on such as global warming.

NASA is an agency that has made a lot of technology for people and scientific features to help scientists. This agency affected our lives greatly because of the things they have created. Even though NASA has made all of these systems and features, they seem that they don’t take the Earth and its people seriously. NASA should not be shut down because they might help the Earth and its people in the future, but the government should not give billions of dollars to them. It would be a big mistake to give them money than to give people money who really need it.
NASA has been dealing with their responsibilities these past years. Global Warming, and other things such as the health of people should be the government’s main focus. Accomplishing these tasks successively will make the people of Earth live a little better.
